Awareness Flash Mob  World Breastfeeding Week

As part of World Breastfeeding Week (August 1-7), the PG Department of Home Science conducted an awareness flash mob with the theme "Prioritise Breastfeeding: Create Sustainable Support Systems", on 1st August 2025 in front of the administrative block at 1:30 pm. The aim of the programme was to raise awareness about the importance of breastfeeding. The objective of the programme was to educate the community about the benefits of breastfeeding and promote a supportive environment for breastfeeding mothers.
Students of various departments, teachers, and non-teaching staff were the audience. A total of 17 students from I and III Semesters BSc FCS and I Sem MSc Home Science - Nutrition & Dietetics participated in the flash mob. The programme ended with a vote of thanks by Ms. Fathima Shafiya Kurikkal, P, I Sem MSc Home Science - Nutrition & Dietetics.
Lt. Loosiya. KP, Assistant Professor (Adhoc), PG Department of Home Science, and Ms. Risha. N, I Sem MSc Home Science - Nutrition & Dietetics were the faculty and student coordinators, respectively.
