Academic Council
The Academic Council is the apex academic authority of the College, constituted in accordance with the UGC Regulations for Autonomous Colleges and the University of Calicut Act. It steers the institution's academic vision by ensuring quality, innovation, and excellence in higher education.
Composition: Chaired by the Principal, the Council comprises Heads of Departments, faculty representatives, the Controller of Examinations, University nominees, and eminent experts from academia and industry.
Role: The Council approves curricula and syllabi, frames academic regulations, recommends new programmes, and ensures the highest standards in teaching, learning, assessment, and academic governance.
