Report on Anti-Ragging Video Presentation

As part of the Anti-Ragging Week celebration, the Anti-Ragging Cell of KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, organized an Anti-Ragging Video Presentation on 14th August 2025 at the C. H. Auditorium. The programme aimed to educate students about the legal provisions, consequences, and preventive measures related to ragging, thereby fostering a culture of respect and mutual understanding within the campus.
The session was led by Dr. Deepa K, Convenor of the Anti-Ragging Cell and Assistant Professor of Chemistry, who emphasized the institution’s zero-tolerance policy towards ragging. A short documentary, followed by an informative video highlighting UGC regulations and real-life case studies, was screened for the students. The presentation effectively conveyed the psychological, academic, and legal repercussions of ragging, encouraging students to uphold values of empathy, cooperation, and mutual respect.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Deepa K with the support of faculty members from all departments. The programme successfully sensitized students to the seriousness of the issue and strengthened their commitment to ensuring a safe, respectful, and ragging-free campus.
