The Women Cell of KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, under the KSWDC She Skills Hub initiative, has been actively engaged in empowering young women through skill development. As part of this effort, 70 students participated in a series of 30-day intensive vocational training programs organized by the Subbarao PAI Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Wandoor, during the vacation period of April–May 2025. The courses included Stitching, Junior Beauty Practitioner, and Fashion Designing, all aimed at equipping students with practical skills, promoting self-reliance, and enhancing entrepreneurial capabilities.
To mark the successful completion of these training programs, a Certificate Distribution Ceremony was held on 3rd October 2025 at RSETI, Wandoor. The event was graced by dignitaries, faculty members, and representatives of RSETI. Students received their certificates in recognition of their dedication and achievement in acquiring professional skills.
The ceremony was not only a moment of pride for the trainees but also a reflection of the Women Cell’s vision to provide meaningful platforms for women’s empowerment. The initiative has significantly contributed to building confidence and fostering economic independence among students.
The Women Cell remains committed to organizing more such impactful programs in the future, thereby continuing its mission of empowering women through education, skills, and opportunities.
