On November 23rd, 2023, a programme of a video on the biography of Van der Waals in connection with the Van der Waals Day Observance was conducted at KAHM Unity Women's College, Manjeri.. Physics Club and Chemistry Association exhibited a documentary about the biography of Van der Waals, the father of modern molecular science at the digital studio of KAHM unity women’s college. The program was inaugurated by Dr. P. Jyothi (head of the department of Chemistry). An introductory talk was given by Mr. Muhammed Abdul Hakkeem C, Head of the department of Physics. The event aimed to raise awareness about the life and work of Johannes Diderik Van der Waals and his contributions to the field of physics and materials science. 
The programme  began with an introduction to the observance and the significance of Van der Waals' work. This was followed by the screening of a video on the biography of Van der Waals, which was created by the organizers of the event. The video provided a comprehensive overview of Van der Waals' life, work, and contributions to science.
