World Environment Day Celebration: PowerPoint Presentation and Poster Making Competition
On June 5, 2024, the Science Club, celebrated World Environment Day with educational and creative activities. The theme for this year, “Land restoration, stopping desertification and building drought resilience” guided the day’s events, including a PowerPoint presentation and a poster-making competition. The event commenced with a welcome address by Dr Jyothi P, Head of the Department of Chemistry. She highlighted the importance of World Environment Day and the theme “Land restoration, stopping desertification and building drought resilience” emphasizing the role of educational institutions in promoting environmental awareness. The whole programme was coordinated by Mrs. Suhada K.M and Dr. Jamsheena V. Assistant Professors and Science club Coordinators, KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri.
