BRINGING THE TIRANGA HOME
HAR GHAR TIRANGA CAMPAIGN 2026
150 Years of Vande Mataram

As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2026, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram, the NCC Army Wing of KAHM Unity Women’s College (Autonomous), Manjeri, under 9 (K) Girls Battalion NCC, Calicut, conducted a campaign encouraging cadets to bring the Tiranga into their homes and participate in the nationwide celebration of patriotism, national pride, and unity. The programme aimed to promote patriotism, national pride, and respect for the National Flag by encouraging NCC cadets to participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign and celebrate the spirit of Vande Mataram. As part of the campaign, 65 NCC cadets and Lt. Loosiya. KP, Associate NCC Officer, hoisted the National Flag at their respective homes. They also participated in the “Selfie with Tiranga” initiative by registering on the official Har Ghar Tiranga portal of the Ministry of Culture, uploading their selfies with the National Flag, and singing Vande Mataram as a tribute to the National Song. The participating cadets and the ANO subsequently received certificates through the official campaign portal. The campaign strengthened patriotism and national pride among the participants, increased awareness about the significance and dignity of the National Flag, and encouraged active participation in the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign. It also promoted the spirit of unity and love for the motherland while commemorating the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram.
