Career Guidance and Placement Cell

A Career and Course Guidance Centre is functioning in the college that facilitates students in choosing out the right career paths and guiding the students to various openings suitable for their competency, economic resources, and personal choices. It helps the students to develop knowledge and skills to pursue their desired academic and professional choices. The cell provides relevant academic and career information to enable the students to make appropriate decisions on right time. This cell aims to aid the students for goal setting, positive interaction, multiple intelligence, self-awareness, leadership qualities, interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships. The objectives of the cell are to conduct student-oriented programmes in order to create an awareness about the importance of higher education, to guide students in taking career decisions based on the demand and requirements of the future, to make the students aware about latest trends and needs of government and private sector job market, etc. The cell organizes workshops, seminars, orientation programmes, placement drives, etc. Reference books are made available in the library for equipping the students to undergo competitive examinations.
